The Portland Seafood and Wine Festival is an annual event benefiting the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The event takes place at the Oregon Convention Center and admission is only $12. Food and wine samples start and $1.00 and $.50 respectively. So if you are looking to try our local seafood but don’t want to drive to the coast or spend a ton of money at a restaurant, this is a good place to go. Plus your money will be going to a good cause. This year’s event will take place on Friday, February 1st, and Saturday, February 2nd.
As always the Max is the best way to get to the Convention Center if you are close to a stop. The Red, Blue, and Green lines all stop at the Convention Center. The Yellow line stops at the Rose Quarter Transit Mall. If the Max is inconvenient almost every bus in town makes a stop at the Rose Quarter which is just a couple of blocks west of the Convention Center.by
